Good news for all gamers across all platforms, Crytek game developers have revealed news that they are planning to release their games across all platforms (xbox 360 and ps3) as oppose to PC only. The main reasons for this as described by Crytek president Cevat Yerli was due to the companys on running battle with piracy especially with their current title ‘Crysis’.

“We are suffering currently from the huge piracy that is encompassing Crysis,” explained Yerli.

“It was a big lesson for us and I believe we won’t have PC exclusives as we did with Crysis in future. We are going to support PC, but not exclusive anymore,” he added.

Gamers will also be familar with Crytek games such as Farcry, so although it is bad news the company are struggling to beat piracy - we may soon be able to play Crysis on the PS3 which will be bloody brilliant in my eyes.

Sneakin up on ya, sneaking sneaking up on ya

So you’ve probably been enjoying the Metal Gear Online beta this weekend and by now you know your way round the two maps, well Konami have added a new map ‘Midtown Maelstrom’ exciting eh?

They have also added the ’sneaking mission’ which you’ll be excited to know sees one player play as Snake himself!! his goal is to sneek round picking up the dogtags of fallen enemies, we can’t wait to try it out!

Furukawa Electric Co Ltd recently exhibited a new smaller, lighter and cheaper heat sinks for the PS3. Originally one heatsink was used to cool the Cell processor and and the RSX graphics. But according to Furukawa, the PS3 has replaced the 90nm Cell with a 65nm Cell in the “third-generation product” and the Cell processor and graphics are cooled by separate heatsinks.

Free Hot Shots Stroke and Match Online Play patch available

A free Hot Shots Golf patch is avialable that brings available Stroke and Match Online Play. All you need to do is stick in the game disc and go to the online features.

Looks beutiful. Remanicent of a SNK fighter, the 3D models used in a 2D fighter look gorgeous. Hope they release it over here soon. Out in Japan sometime this by may!

Thats right, after the lengthy update 1.01 last weekend Konami have released another update 1.02 that you’ll need to download if you want to take part in the european beta when it goes live later today. We have it on good authority that its only a small update (so it shouldn’t take forever) and that it irons out many bugs discovered in the Japanese beta this week.

Though its kinda annoying downloading all these things its good to see the beta process is working and the bugs are being ironed out.. expect me to slit your throat at some point tomorrow!!
